Alesco INTER 8/12 – manual and user guide
The Alesco INTER 8/12 is a mobile three-phase induction heater that runs at 8 kW and can be boosted to 12 kW when needed. Unlike the ACE12 it has internal cooling, so no external water supply is required. This page covers the specifications, the boost function, the alarm indicators and the annual check.

Internal cooling – the main difference from the ACE12
The INTER 8/12 cools itself. There is no tap water connection to arrange and no separate cooling unit to buy or move. That makes it the straightforward choice for a fixed workshop, at the cost of weight: 95 kg against the ACE12’s 19 kg.
Getting started
- When connected to power, the ON switch is illuminated.
- Press the ON switch. The machine runs a short self-check and seven diodes light green from the left.
- Choose the power setting with the + and − buttons. There are ten steps.
- The machine is activated by the start/stop switch on the transformer handle.
- Place the inductor on the surface to be heated and activate the switch.
- While heating, the diodes on the display flash.
Using boost
The INTER 8/12 starts at 8 kW and can be boosted to 12 kW every other minute.
- Press and hold the + button for three seconds, until the last three diodes shine bright yellow.
- You now have 60 seconds at 12 kW.
- After that, continue at 8 kW or wait 60 seconds until the last three diodes shine white.
- Boost again.
Alarm indicators and fault codes

All alarms and errors also trigger an audible signal. The fault codes are printed on the product label as well as shown on the display.
Operating the machine
Place the heating tip flat against the workpiece, press and hold the ON/OFF button, and move the inductor around the surface being heated.
- Never hold the inductor still for more than a few seconds in the same place.
- Do not touch heated parts without first checking the temperature.
- The work area must be cleared of flammable materials.
- No pacemakers and no implants near the machine while it is active.
- Remove watches, rings and bracelets before use.
Annual check
Run a visual check before every start, and have the machine checked at least once every twelve months by a trained engineer with calibrated equipment. The check includes an earth continuity test (PE) below 0.5 ohms and an insulation resistance test, plus a visual inspection of the power cable, the inlet, the housing screws, the front and rear covers, the control panel and the hose package.
If damage or deviation is found, do not use the machine until it has been correctly serviced.
Safety
All major service and maintenance work must be carried out by Alesco service personnel. Disconnect the machine from the mains before service, cleaning or maintenance, and never remove cover plates while it is connected. Do not touch the inductor while it is activated. Keep fire extinguishing equipment at hand.
Warranty
Alesco grants a 24-month warranty from the date of delivery, covering defects in material and workmanship.
